Description

The Type E External Cavitray from Cavity Trays is a practical solution for inserting a preformed DPC (damp-proof course) into an existing cavity wall. Universally applicable as an external angle, each unit measures 220mm x 220mm, designed to be equally handed for convenience. During bricking back, additional perp joints may occur due to the Type E standard internal and external angles. This cavitray requires only one course of bricks to be disturbed, minimising disruption as only a few bricks are removed at a time.

The self-contained Type E Cavitrays, spanning the length of two bricks, easily clip together to facilitate efficient and rapid installation. Preformed angles are included to accommodate corners and piers, while each unit has stand-alone discharge via a weep. The hinged cavity upstand of the Type E adjusts to suit various cavity widths, making it suitable for all popular cavity sizes.
