This Type J2 Insulated DPC Cavity Support and Closer with a 2.4m Length is engineered for a parapet construction solution. According to the stringent guidelines of BS5628: Part 3, it ensures optimal Damp Proof Course (DPC) support beneath copings, meeting both British Standard and NHBC performance standards (Chapter 6.1, S4 (c) to (d)).

In conventional cavity parapets culminating with copings, this Insulated DPC Cavity Support and Closer is strategically positioned, with the DPC slightly overhanging the parapet masonry width. Crucially, it provides essential support where the DPC traverses the cavity. Specifically designed for such applications, this Type J2 closer boasts 150mm x 30mm x 2mm/2.5mm dimensions. Ideal for a variety of scenarios, it excels in providing DPC support and closing cavities under parapet copings while also serving as a versatile solution for closing cavities in open eaves and other eaves details.
