A high-quality lead-free flashing, this Ubbink Ubiflex Finio Grey Lead Flashing Alternative is suitable for use when waterproofing buildings. With its lightweight and malleable structure, it easily forms into various shapes. As a result, it is perfect for forming stepped flashings, abutment flashings, chimney flashings, pitched roof valley liners, dormer window flashings, and rooflight and solar panel flashings.
Ubiflex Finio can be dressed at temperatures down to -10°C. It successfully adheres to most materials because of butyl strips and self-adhesive backing, making it ideal for wood, plastic and aluminium surfaces, as well as stone, concrete, slate, zinc, aluminium and steel.
If there's damage or a hole in the Ubiflex Finio flashing, repairing it is quick and easy. You don't need to pre-treat it; place a cut patch of Ubiflex Finio over the damaged area. There should be a 5cm overlap on all sides for a successful waterproof repair. To figure out the necessary size and amount of material, use the helpful grid on the foil's back.
