From VELUX, this BDX insulation collar and BFX underfelt collar measure 78cm x 180cm. Cost-effective and supplied together, these products come in handy when insulating your VELUX roof windows and ensuring that they have watertight seals.
The underfelt collar (BFX) provides an effective watertight seal between the roof window, battens and the roofing underfelt. It is easy to fit by simply unfolding from the top of the window, and also includes a self-supporting drain gutter that can be adjusted and guides water away from the roof window's head in the case of leaks.
The easy and quick to install insulation collar (BDX) works to lessen heat loss and diminish cold bridges. Rigid and flexible foam is combined to result in a tight, secure installation to the roof construction that is energy efficient.
