Learn moreThis standard twin flashing from VELUX is ideal for interconnecting side-by-side installations of two VELUX roof windows with an 18mm frame distance and is compatible with plain tiles up to a maximum thickness of 14mm and a maximum length of 300mm, at a roof pitch between 25° and 90°.
For standard installation heights, you need to fit the brackets at the top and bottom of the window frame at the red line level. Integrating with the roof covering and sitting under the roofing materials, this VELUX flashing provides a weathertight and elegant finish around your window with no maintenance requirements on the exterior. Due to its construction, it allows rainwater to safely drain from the roof above the window.

Question:
Does this house 2 MK04 Windows or do you need additional flashing kits? Will it fit in a gap 1608mm wide. Thanks
Answer:
The VELUX EBP MK04 0021B Twin Plain Tile Flashing is indeed designed to house two MK04 windows side-by-side. You won't need any additional flashing kits for this setup. The flashing kit accommodates an 18mm gap between the two windows. However, your 1608mm opening may not be sufficient. Each MK04 window is 780mm wide, so two windows plus the 18mm gap would require a total width of 1578mm. This does not account for any additional space that may be needed for installation and does not leave any room for adjustment. You can find more installation details in the fitting instructions here. If you need further technical advice, I would recommend contacting our customer service team or your installer.
