This single recessed flashing from VELUX is suitable for use with profiled or flat roofing materials when installing one roof window into tiles with a maximum profile of 90mm on roof pitches from 20° up to 90°.
Also applicable for thatched roofs, interlocking slate and corrugated sheets, this recessed flashing integrates between the roof covering and the window to provide an elegant and streamlined finish for your window as it is fitted 40mm deeper in the roof structure meaning that less of the window protrudes above the roofline. It also ensures the window seal is weatherproof, watertight and durable while allowing safe drainage of rainwater from the roof above the window. For recessed installation, you can fix the brackets at the sides of the window frame, level with the blue line.
