Providing your roof window with a sleek and more streamlined appearance than a standard VELUX flashing, this VELUX EDJ 1000 Recessed Tile Flashing with BFX Underfelt Collar sits 40mm deeper in your roof's structure.
Designed for flat or profiled roof materials with a profile of up to 90mm, measured from the top of the tile batten to the highest point of the tile, this flashing will ensure a discreet, secure installation of your VELUX window. The BFX collar, which comes included, will provide a durable weathertight seal between your window and roof. It is also suitable for corrugated sheets, interlocking slate and thatched roof installations.
Suitable for roof pitches of 20° to 90°, this flashing is manufactured using corrosion-proof materials, which will guarantee high performance and superb longevity. Its grey aluminium finish will also blend seamlessly with the outer frame of your window.
With integrated rainwater channels, the flashing will ensure safe water drainage from above your window and into the gutters below. As these channels can become blocked by debris and leaves, the manufacturer recommends you clean these channels out at least once a year.
