The window includes a white polyurethane frame that can withstand moisture and requires no maintenance.
To provide fresh air, even when shut, VELUX roof windows feature ventilation bars and filters that avoid the infiltration of dust and insects. Exceptional pivot hinges guarantee smooth operation, and click-on covers make for safe, time-effective installations. By spinning the window 180° and using the barrel bolt to pin it, each side of the window can be cleaned almost effortlessly from indoors. The patented pre-mounted brackets let you install blinds by clicking them into place. Following this, you can insert pre-cut side channels.
VELUX enhanced noise reduction glazing (62) provides a hydrophobic anti-dew coating for views that are clear of dew, a toughened outer pane which has the strength to tolerate environmental factors, as well as a UV filter that saves furnishings from sun damage.
