The window includes a white polyurethane frame that can withstand moisture and requires no maintenance.
To provide fresh air, even when shut, VELUX roof windows feature ventilation bars and filters that avoid the infiltration of dust and insects. Exceptional pivot hinges guarantee smooth operation, and click-on covers make for safe, time-effective installations. By spinning the window 180° and using the barrel bolt to pin it, each side of the window can be cleaned almost effortlessly from indoors. The patented pre-mounted brackets let you install blinds by clicking them into place. Following this, you can insert pre-cut side channels.
VELUX double glazing (70) delivers comfort. For untarnished furniture, the UV filter prevents sun damage while the toughened glass provides outer panes with added strength. In turn, they can better resist external environmental factors. If your window breaks, shards of glass will not enter your home due to the safety lamination and the unique rain noise reduction lets you sleep better without the sound of droplets against the window.
