For standard installation heights, you can install the brackets at the bottom and top of the window frame, level with the red line. Featuring a BFX underfelt collar, this VELUX flashing provides a weathertight finish with effective rainwater drainage as it is fitted between the roof covering and the window for a sleek appearance. With a BDX insulation collar, it helps to eliminate cold bridges and reduce heat loss by insulating around the roof window frame.

Question:
Hi there, does this product come with the fixing kit required and will it be suitable for a pitch roof with old pan tiles ? Kind regards
Answer:
The VELUX Pro+ EDW MK04 2000 Insulated Single Tile Flashing comes with everything you need for a standard installation, including the brackets. You install the brackets at the top and bottom of the frame at the red line level. This product is designed for installing one roof window in flat or profiled roofing material up to 120mm in profile, including interlocking slate, thatch, and profile sheeting. It's suitable for a roof pitch between 15 and 90°. As for the compatibility with old pan tiles, as long as the tiles are no more than 120mm in profile, the product should work fine. However, if the tiles are larger than this, or if you have any other specific requirements due to the age or style of the tiles, I recommend contacting our customer service for additional assistance. For more information on the installation process, you can check out the Installation Guide.
