Including a BDX insulation collar, a BFX underfelt collar, bearing beams and cover plates, this VELUX Pro+ EKN 4021E Insulated Coupled Slate Flashing is specifically designed to accommodate two side-by-side VELUX window installations, with a 100mm gap between the two window frames. Most commonly used with roofing slates up to 8mm thick, this flashing is also compatible with other flat roofing materials, such as roofing felt and membranes.
Suitable for roof pitches from 20° to 90°, this recessed flashing means your VELUX windows will sit 40mm deeper within your roof compared to a standard flashing, creating a more streamlined and sleeker appearance. To help blend in with your windows, the discreet VELUX Pro+ EKN 4021E flashing's aluminium grey finish will match perfectly with the outer frame colour of your two windows.
This flashing, made from corrosion-proof materials, features built-in water channels designed to channel rainwater down the sides of your VELUX window and away into the gutters below. This is to prevent water from pooling above the window and potentially damaging the flashing over time.
