VELUX SMH external electric roller shutters for GPU INTEGRA Electric top hung roof windows can prevent a room from getting too warm in the summer but also keeps it warm during the winter. This makes the VELUX roller shutters perfect any time of the year in any climate, and lets you block out all light from the room at any time of the day.
The VELUX SMH roller shutters are manufactured from hard-wearing lacquered aluminium, to ensure years of smooth operation, the roller shutters are rigorously tested in extreme conditions. They also come with a top cover which is integrated into the window and hides the roller shutter when it is not in use. Their top casing forms an integrated part of your roof, no matter what roofing materials you have used.
The SMH electric roller shutter is simple & straightforward to operate. Shutters come with a pre-paired wall switch; this switch lets you easily control your blinds. You can programme multiple shutters into one wall switch for simultaneous operation. These VELUX roller shutters can be raised and lowered manually by the control bar at the bottom of the blind if necessary.
If you don't own any electrically powered VELUX INTEGRA roof window, but would like an electric powered blind, then you would need to use the KUX 100 control system. This allows you to use the electrically powered VELUX blinds or shutters in manually operated roof windows.
