With this kit, you can duct an extractor fan (sold separately) to the outside, ensuring your indoor air quality stays fresh.

  • Allows an extractor fan to be ducted to the outside
  • For use with 14"/35cm TWF and TWR Sun tunnels
  • Supplements the existing ventilation in the room
  • Suitable for use with roof pitches from 15° to 60°

Please note:

  • This kit does not come supplied with a ventilation pipe and is not compatible with the BFX 0K14 1000 underfelt collar. It is suitable for use with TWR 014 2010 and TWF 014 2010 only.

can the ventilation facility be switched on and off?

Answer:

This unit doesn't come with a fan as it's sold separately. You could fit a switch to turn it off and on

Can this product be used (in conjunction with an extractor fan) to provide adequate ventilation in a small bathroom (1.5m x 2m)?

Officially I would have to say no. This unit has its own fan and if you were to alter it in any way it would break your warranty

Can it be used any other way?

Answer:

This can only be used in conjunction with a Velux Sun Tunnel I am afraid.
