Firestone Seam Tapes are designed for finishing edges of your EPDM membrane when joining another flat roof, seaming joining EPDM sheets etc.
Seams tapes are made from a semi cured rubber so there is a degree of flexibility but they must not be used as flashings.
Application
Like all Firestone QuickSeam products QuickPrime Plus and QuickScrubber Handle & Pads should be used with this product.The Seam Tape has centre markings which are used as a guide to apply the seam tape over the Join. Apply a thin even coat to the EPDM membrane, peel of the backing from the seam tape and apply using a silicone roller to ensure no air is trapped underneath and the best contact is made.
Storage
Can be kept up to 12 months if stored at temperatures above 15°C, otherwise shelf life will be shortened.
