Suitable for a wide range of uses and available in various sizes, the strong and flexible 8mm thick Axgard® Clear UV Protected Polycarbonate Glazing Sheet from Clear Amber guarantees excellent light transmission and is protected from UV degradation, thanks to the additional layers on both sides.
From balcony screens and canopies to machine guards and anti-vandal glazing, the Axgard® Clear sheet can be used for all manner of projects, thanks to its incredible strength. Its highly durable construction makes it bomb blast resistant and two hundred times stronger than glass sheets.
These lightweight sheets are safe and easy to handle, making installation hassle-free and straightforward. Whether cutting the sheets down to size or drilling directly into the sheet during installation, they will not crack or fracture.
The sheet's Class 1 fire rating means it will not burn and, therefore, will not act as fuel in the event of a fire. A further safety feature of the Axgard® Clear is its composition. Despite its near indestructible structure, should the sheet be hit with a severe impact, it will not shatter into tiny glass-like shards.
