A solvent-based adhesive, this Contact Bonding Adhesive (BA-2012) is the ideal solution for bonding Firestone EPDM membranes to approved insulations in addition to wood, metal, masonry and other acceptable substrates.
In terms of coverage, rates are influenced by both the smoothness of the substrate and the application method. When using a roller, expect coverage of 2.35 to 3m² per litre for both sides of the surface. With a SuperSpreader or sprayer, expect coverage of 2.75 to 3.50m² per litre for both sides of the surface.
Question:
Will it stick rubber to sand stone brick
Answer:
The Contact Bonding Adhesive for Firestone is designed to bond Firestone EPDM membranes to various substrates, including masonry. While it does not specify sandstone brick explicitly, it should work as sandstone is a type of masonry. However, results can depend on the specific conditions and the smoothness of the substrate. For further technical information, you can check out the product's Technical Information document. If you're unsure, it may be best to conduct a small test application first to be certain.
