Learn moreThis versatile clear plastic roof sheet is manufactured from PVC, part of the Coroline bitumen roof sheet range. This corrugated sheet allows natural daylight through, acting as a roof light, lighting the structure below. Designed to the same dimensions and corrugation as Coroline sheets, this roof sheet can be installed wherever Coroline bitumen sheets can be installed, including agricultural buildings, animal houses, garages and sheds. Providing an economical and passive solution to lighting, this simple product can help you cut back on the need for lighting.
With a slight blue tint, this translucent variant allows 59% of daylight to transfer through the window. It also offers elements of privacy as the translucent finish obscures views in and out of the roof sheet. Additionally, the Coroline range by Ariel comes with a 15 Year Guarantee.

Question:
Can coroline sheets be cut by saw or do they splinter ? I've ordered 2m lengths and I've realised the space I'm about to cover is slightly wider at one end so I hope to overlap sheets a little.
Answer:
Yes, you can indeed cut Coroline sheets using a fine-tooth saw or jigsaw, ideally with a plastic blade. To prevent any possible cracking, it's recommended to use low speed and light pressure. Make sure to provide good support close to the cut line. Avoid using angle grinders as they can melt the edge of the sheet. For your second concern, you can certainly overlap the sheets slightly to cover a wider end.
