From Cromar, this Cromapol Fibre Free Acrylic Waterproof Coating is a quality acrylic-based roof coating. Grey in colour, it can be applied seamlessly without the need for a primer and can also be applied in damp weather conditions on the majority of surfaces.
It waterproofs and protects surfaces instantly, even when wet, and won't wash away before curing is complete. It withstands ponding, covers in a single coat and offers great adhesion.
With a coverage of 1 to 2kg per m² on average, this waterproof coating has an up to 72-hour drying time (reliant on the ambient temperature).

can it be painted straight on top of a leaky grp roof , and secondly does it dry hard or firm like a grp roof .

Yes it can be used on GRP, depending on the leak size you shouldn't need mesh, It may get sticky in direct hot sunlight
