These factors include the ridge tile sitting close enough to the top tile courses and achieving proper compression from the ridge unions. A bonding area (butyl strip) of approximately 75mm each side is also recommended.

This system is just for fitting the ridges and does not include an end cap, at the end you would use a stop end ridge, or if using a dry verge system they often have ridge end caps that will cover the final ridge.
