Find out moreThese innovative Eco Slate Recycled Plastic Slate Roof Tiles can be installed as low as 10 degrees, making for a practical and environmentally friendly solution for any building project looking for a fresh upgrade. Designed to mimic authentic natural slate, these lightweight red/brown tiles create a charming aesthetic that's great for the environment but looks the part too.
Each pack comprises 16 slates, providing 1m² coverage (seven slates per linear metre). At only 5mm thick, these lightweight 700g tiles are easy to handle during installation, saving you time and hassle. Standout features include their flexibility, allowing you to use them in valleys and ridges without custom-made accessories. Thanks to their recycled plastic construction, you can also cut them to size with a simple utility knife or a set of snips.
The self-bonding nature of these slates creates a strong and pliable membrane, offering excellent wind and weather resistance even at low pitches. Installation is straightforward, fitting directly onto a plyboard or oriented strand board (OSB) without the need for roof battens.
Covered by a 50-year warranty, these slates have undergone rigorous testing, withstanding winds up to 110mph and earning a Class 4 impact rating. By choosing these Eco Slate tiles, you benefit from a cost-effective and sustainable alternative to traditional slate, allowing you to enjoy the same aesthetic appeal while embracing their lightweight, flexible, and unbreakable design.
