The self-adhesive waterproofing membrane Elotene DSN forms a total barrier against vapour and gases. Comprising of a double reinforced aluminium top surface with integral glass fibre and a polyester film, Elotene DSN provides protection from alkalis that might be found in concrete and screeds.
Elotene DSN vapour barrier has a high tensile strength and puncture resistance, this makes it suitable for heavy worksite traffic and for applications that involve high mechanical stresses. Providing an easy and fast means of waterproofing a roof structure before installing insulation and waterproofing, Elotene is an effective vapour barrier and doesn’t require hot works or a naked flame in its application.
Elotene DSN self-adhesive vapour barrier may be used beneath adhered and mechanically fixed roofing systems. Elotene DSN can be used in a variety of construction applications:
When installing Elotene DSN please ensure surfaces are dry, clean, smooth and free of impurities. If the surface is porous, apply a coat of Primer in a quantity of 75 – 150 g/sqm, in any case the use of primer is advisable, please ensure the manufacturer’s instructions are followed.

Hi can I stick this over another birumous product.. Ie :there is a wall in my basement which has been fully treated with tanking slurry then a capsheet has been applied.. There are no leaks or damp at all. I just wanted to ensure 200% that no damp would come through before I plasterboard it and insulate that wall. Is it possible please
