Including a white uPVC curb and a double glazed dome manufactured from thermoformed polycarbonate sheet with a minimum of 3mm thick glazing and an opal tint, this 1100mm x 1400mm rectangular Em-Dome rooflight has been created to make optimal use of natural daylight.
With improved security thanks to the translucent finish, this Em-Dome transmits high levels of light, steadily diffused into the room beneath. The polycarbonate material, in comparison to glass, is practically indestructible with up to 250 times stronger impact resistance.
Due to the unique and patented high-security screwbolts that are provided factory fitted as standard, this Em-Dome rooflight cannot be detached using common tools, once installed. These screwbolts deliver incredible resistance to tampering or forced entry. The sleeved fixing within the body of the screwbolt helps to inhibit pressure from building up onto the rooflight glazing as it is secured. This means that the potential for over-tightening which triggers stress fractures is practically removed.
