Featuring a white uPVC curb and double glazed dome made from thermoformed polycarbonate sheet with a clear finish and a minimum of 3mm thick glazing, this rectangular 1100mm x 1700mm Em-Dome rooflight has been designed to make optimal use of natural sunlight. Compared to glass, the polycarbonate material is virtually unbreakable with up to 250 times tougher impact strength.
This Em-Dome rooflight cannot be uninstalled using common tools, once fitted, thanks to the patented and unique high-security screwbolts that are provided factory fitted as standard. They ensure outstanding resistance to forced entry or tampering. Within the body of the screwbolt, the sleeved fixing helps to stop pressure from being exerted onto the rooflight glazing as it is secured. This means that the risk of over-tightening which causes stress fractures is almost eradicated.
