This triple glazed, thermoformed polycarbonate dome with a minimum of 3mm thick glazing and white uPVC curb has been created to take full advantage of using natural light while the opal diffused finish transmits high levels of light, consistently dispersed into the area beneath.
The translucent surface of this Em-Dome rooflight enhances security while the polycarbonate material is almost indestructible with an impact resistance up to 250 times greater than glass. The patented and unique high security screwbolts come factory fitted as standard and ensure that once fixed, this Em-Dome rooflight cannot be uninstalled using common tools. The screwbolts are incredibly resistant to tampering or forced entry while within their body, the fixing screws or bolts are sleeved to avoid pressure from building up onto the rooflight glazing as the fixings are tightened. This fundamentally eliminates the potential for stress fractures triggered by over-tightening.
