This 1200mm x 1700mm rectangular Em-Dome rooflight with a double glazed dome thermoformed from polycarbonate sheet with a minimum of 3mm thick glazing is virtually indestructible with an impact resistance up to 250 times stronger than glass.
Featuring a white uPVC curb and an opal finished dome, this Em-Dome rooflight has been fabricated to make optimal use of natural light while increasing security due to the translucent surface and consistently diffusing high levels of light transmission into the room beneath.
Including unique and patented high security screwbolts, this Em-Dome rooflight is provided factory fitted as standard with the screwbolts to deliver an outstanding resilience to tampering or forced entry and to ensure that once fitted, the fixings cannot be uninstalled using basic tools. Eliminating the potential for stress fractures triggered by over-tightening, the fixing screw or bolt within the screwbolt's body inhibits pressure from exerting on the rooflight glazing as the fixing is fastened.
