This Em-Dome double glazed circular dome and white uPVC curb with a diameter of 1250mm is a high quality rooflight that has been constructed to make optimal use of natural light while the opal finish helps to transmit high level of light, steadily dispersed into the room below.
The opal tint also enhances security due to the translucent surface. Manufactured from virtually unbreakable thermoformed polycarbonate sheet, this Em-Dome rooflight has a minimum of 3mm thick glazing and an impact strength up to 250 times more robust than glass.
With factory fitted as standard, patented high security screwbolts that are unique to Em-Dome, this rooflight cannot be uninstalled with the use of basic tools once fixed. With an incredible resistance to tampering or forced entry, within the screwbolt's body, the fixing screws or bolts are sleeved to deter pressure from being exerted on the glazing as the fixing is tightened. This nearly eliminates the potential for stress fractures instigated by over-tightening.
