This quality square Em-Dome rooflight with 1400mm x 1400mm dimensions has a double glazed dome, manufactured from thermoformed polycarbonate sheet, with a clear surface and a minimum of 3mm thick glazing and a white uPVC curb.
Created to take complete advantage of using natural light, this Em-Dome rooflight's polycarbonate material is virtually unbreakable with an impact strength up to 250 times tougher than glass.
Including patented high security screwbolts that are exclusive to Em-Dome and supplied factory fitted as standard, once this Em-Dome rooflight is fixed, it cannot be uninstalled by means of common tools. These screwbolt fixings provide outstanding resilience to forced entry or tampering while the bolt or screw is sleeved within their body to avoid exertion of pressure onto the rooflight glazing as the fixing is fastened. This ensures that the risk of stress fractures triggered by over-tightening is essentially eliminated.
