This quality 600mm x 600mm square Em-Dome rooflight includes a double-glazed clear dome manufactured from thermoformed polycarbonate sheet and a 300mm splayed curb made from white PVC. It can be incorporated with a Vent Axia centrifugal extract fan solo unit with a noise level of 42dB and an extract performance of 85 cubic metres/h.
With a minimum of 3mm thick glazing, the clear surface makes the most of using natural daylight while the polycarbonate material is practically unbreakable in comparison to glass as it has up to 250 times greater impact strength.
Once mounted, this Em-Dome rooflight cannot be uninstalled using basic tools thanks to the patented and unique high-security screwbolts that are delivered factory-fitted as standard. They offer excellent resistance to tampering or forced entry. The sleeved fixing within the screwbolt's body ensures the prevention of exertion of pressure onto the glazing as it is secured. This helps to basically eradicate the risk of over-tightening which triggers stress fractures.
