Manufactured from double glazed thermoformed polycarbonate sheet with a minimum of 3mm thick glazing, this rectangular 700mm x 1300mm Em-Dome rooflight with a white uPVC curb has been made to make optimum use of natural light with an opal tint that increases security due to the translucent surface.
Ideal for maintaining high levels of light transmission whilst steadily dispersing light into the room below, this opal tinted polycarbonate rooflight is practically unbreakable with up to 250 times greater impact strength than glass.
Unique to Em-Dome are the patented high security screwbolts that have been provided factory fitted as standard with this rooflight. They ensure that once fitted, the fixings cannot be removed with the use of common tools and deliver superior resistance to forced entry or tampering. With a fixing bolt or screw sleeved within the screwbolt's body, pressure is prevented from exerting onto the rooflight glazing as the fixing is secured. This virtually eradicates the potential for stress fractures triggered by over-tightening.
