Making the most of utilising natural light with a minimum of 3mm thick glazing and an opal finish, this Em-Dome rooflight maintains excellent light transmission whilst evenly dispersing light into the room beneath with enhanced security due to the translucent surface.
This 900mm x 1200mm rectangular Em-Dome rooflight is thermoformed from double glazed polycarbonate sheet with a curb made from white uPVC. The polycarbonate material of the dome is practically indestructible with impact strength up to 250 times greater than glass.
Featuring unique and patented high security screwbolts, this Em-Dome rooflight is supplied factory fitted as standard with these fixings that cannot be removed using basic tools once fitted. These screwbolts ensure exceptional resistance to tampering or forced entry while the sleeved fixing screw or bolt within the screwbolt's body deters pressure from building up on the rooflight glazing as the fixing is tightened. This fundamentally eliminates the risk of stress fractures caused by over-tightening.
