This 900mm x 900mm Em-Dome rooflight is a high-quality triple-glazed fixed dome with an opal finish and a white uPVC curb. Made to make optimal use of natural daylight, the opal properties help to maintain high levels of light transmission, steadily dispersed into the room below while increasing security due to the translucent surface.
Thermoformed from a polycarbonate sheet with an opal tint, triple glazing and a minimum of 3mm thick glazing, this Em-Dome rooflight is virtually indestructible with an impact strength up to 250 times greater than glass.
With patented high-security screwbolts that are unique to Em-Dome and supplied factory fitted as standard, this rooflight has an incredibly high level of resistance to tampering or forced entry due to once fitted, the screwbolt fixing cannot be detached using common tools. Within the body of the screwbolt, the sleeved screw or bolt fixing prevents pressure from being exerted onto the rooflight glazing as it is fastened. This practically eliminates the potential for stress fractures caused by over-tightening.
