Description

Eurodec's Once Weathered Coping stones are manufactured from high-strength concrete and feature a sloping finish - they are 50mm thick at one end and 75mm at the other - allowing rainwater to run off effectively and protect the top layer of your wall from the elements. These stones come in a range of colours to provide not only a practical benefit but also create a decorative finish to your walls that you can tie in with other features around your home and garden, including patio tiles and decking boards.

To protect your wall from water penetration, drip grooves are positioned on the underside of the stone to direct rainwater away from your wall, allowing it to drip down to the ground. As well as preventing water damage to your walls, these coping stones will also protect against water staining, which can occur over time.

  • Handmade using high strength, durable concrete
  • Resistant to UV rays in normal climate conditions
  • This once weathered stone is thicker at one side than the other, creating a sloping effect

Please note:

  • You must not use acid-based cleaners on Eurodec Concrete Coping Stones.
  • It is advised that you test any cleaner on a small area before using it. Similarly, you must avoid high-pressure washers as the jet can damage the stone's surface and weaken the bond between the stone and substrate.
  • Staining can also arise from plants in the immediate vicinity.

Hi is it ok to drill these coping stones to fix stainless steel posts for glass balustrade

Answer:

I'm afraid it's not recommended to drill into the Eurodec once-weathered coping stones to fix stainless steel posts for a glass balustrade. These coping stones are not designed to accommodate such fixings and drilling into them could risk cracking or failure of the stone. The balustrade posts should ideally be fixed into the structural wall below, not the coping. It's always best to consult a professional for such installations to ensure safety and durability.
