Description

Eurodec's Once Weathered Coping stones are manufactured from high-strength concrete and feature a sloping finish - they are 50mm thick at one end and 75mm at the other - allowing rainwater to run off effectively and protect the top layer of your wall from the elements. These stones come in a range of colours to provide not only a practical benefit but also create a decorative finish to your walls that you can tie in with other features around your home and garden, including patio tiles and decking boards.

To protect your wall from water penetration, drip grooves are positioned on the underside of the stone to direct rainwater away from your wall, allowing it to drip down to the ground. As well as preventing water damage to your walls, these coping stones will also protect against water staining, which can occur over time.

Please note:

You must not use acid-based cleaners on Eurodec Concrete Coping Stones.
It is advised that you test any cleaner on a small area before using it. Similarly, you must avoid high-pressure washers as the jet can damage the stone's surface and weaken the bond between the stone and substrate.
Staining can also arise from plants in the immediate vicinity.

Question:

Can these coping stones be cut to accommodate corners through 45 degrees, or does that compromise their weather/water efficiency? Also can I see samples of the different colours?

Answer:

You can buy corners and you can also cut these to make a none right-angle corner as the colour is through the whole of the stone - Please email in with your full address and we will get you samples send FOC

Hi Is there any possibility of the stone becoming porous? I am looking to use it on a parapet wall above cavity wall

Answer:

It is concrete so could become porous over time, some kind of membrane should be laid over the cavity before laying.
