Find out moreEurodec's Once Weathered Coping stones are manufactured from high-strength concrete and feature a sloping finish - they are 50mm thick at one end and 75mm at the other - allowing rainwater to run off effectively and protect the top layer of your wall from the elements. These stones come in a range of colours to provide not only a practical benefit but also create a decorative finish to your walls that you can tie in with other features around your home and garden, including patio tiles and decking boards.
To protect your wall from water penetration, drip grooves are positioned on the underside of the stone to direct rainwater away from your wall, allowing it to drip down to the ground. As well as preventing water damage to your walls, these coping stones will also protect against water staining, which can occur over time.
Please note:
Question:
How far in are the drips from the edge of the copping?
Answer:
The drip grooves on the Eurodec 50-75mm Once Weathered Coping Stone are typically located between 15-20mm from the edge of the stone, with the drips themselves being approximately 10mm wide. This design helps to efficiently channel rainwater away from the wall. For more technical information or any further queries, you can refer to the Technical Information or Fitting Instructions documents.
Question:
What’s the distance between the throats please ? And do you also supply a 450mm x 450mm corner (this could be a longer or shorter length as long as the width remains 450mm).
Answer:
If by the throats you mean the cut channels on the underside, these are set in at 20-30mm eitherside, the coping stone should be at least 60mm wider than the wall they are intended for. this allows the water to run through the drip channels and prevents any staining on the wall.
We do supplu internal and external corners (or returns as they are know) but for the 450mm copping stone the corner would actually be 455mm x 555mm
