Manufactured to meet regulatory standards, this Glidevale AH7 loft hatch is equipped with half an hour of fire rating, providing peace of mind and enhanced safety. It is constructed using a combination of a 6mm Masterboard, insulation infill and a sleek spray-applied vinyl finish. The frame is expertly made from injection-moulded polypropylene and features intumescent strips, adding an extra layer of protection.
With a thermal performance rating of 0.35W/m²K, this loft hatch contributes to excellent energy efficiency, helping you save on heating costs. What's more, it boasts a Class 0 Spread of Surface Flame, ensuring that any potential surface flames are effectively controlled.
Designed to create an airtight seal with your ceiling, this Glidevale loft hatch allows for seamless continuation of ceiling or loft insulation, effectively minimising heat loss. By incorporating seals, this hatch also reduces the risk of condensation by preventing water vapour migration.
