Providing a basic level of thermal insulation in refurbishment and new-build projects where a top up of thermal values is needed, Gyproc Thermaline Basic wallboard features tapered edges and it’s certified to BES 6001. It’s made up of a layer of expanded polystyrene insulation foam bonded to gypsum plasterboard, so it can be used for drylining purposes as well as for insulation in walls, ceilings and reveals.
This product has a Class 0 fire rating on both faces. Faced in ivory paper and backed with white expanded polystyrene, this product can be decorated over as soon as the joint treatment has dried.
Gyproc Thermaline Basic can be plastered over with British Gypsum Thistle MultiFinish to achieve a smooth, crack-resistant surface ready for final decoration once primed. The time gap between completion of lining, plastering and then decorating should be as minimal as possible.
