Suitable for a wide range of industrial and residential applications, IKO Easy-Melt is a high-grade bonding bitumen which conveniently comes in easy-to-handle 10kg shrink-wrapped blocks. It combines the benefits of a high-quality bonding bitumen with the greater efficiency, safer handling and reduced waste that comes from this convenient package, giving you the best of both worlds.
What's more, Easy-Melt bitumen is simple to use, as the blocks can just be broken into pieces and placed straight into the bitumen boiler, including the polyethylene wrapper. There is no packaging to dispose of, which makes it an environmentally friendly solution. As with all bonding bitumen, you shouldn't heat Easy-Melt above 220°C or store it at elevated temperatures for extended periods.
