For a multi-purpose soundproofing solution that meets high acoustic and fire performance demands, this JCW Cement Particle Board for Ceilings and Floors is ideal. The 18mm tongue and groove, high-density overlay acoustic product is specifically designed to add concentrated mass and is perfect for floors and ceilings alike.
In terms of ceiling improvement, the tongue and groove cement bonded particle boards can significantly enhance the overall acoustic performance of your space. Thanks to their mass content and tongue and groove jointing, they are able to reduce sound leakage and improve sound insulation, ensuring a quieter, more comfortable environment.
To achieve maximum impact and airborne performance, these boards are best supported by either Single Fix resilient bars (max weight approx. 30kg/m²) or Twin Fix resilient bars (max weight approx. 50kg/m²).
This JCW Cement Particle Board features a 30-minute fire rating for 18mm thickness (22.5kg/m). This rating can increase to 60 minutes with an added layer of 12.5mm fire-rated board.
