An easy way to provide ventilation and protection at the eaves, this 10mm Vented Eaves Protector in Black from Klober is a combined 1000mm Over Fascia Vent and Underlay Support Tray. It is suited to new build and refurbishment work, flat and profiled tiles, and roof pitches between 15 degrees and 60 degrees.
Supplied in practical 1000mm lengths, this vented eaves protector delivers the equivalent of a continuous 10mm or 25mm opening (10,000mm² per metre run) at eaves level. It is made from injection moulded UV-stable polypropylene, a 100% re-processed material for an environmentally friendly solution.
With watertight connection assembly, it limits the risk of ponding behind the fascia board and stops birds and vermin from getting into batten space. The 'split skirt' (split drip) section allows the lifting of 240mm sections for easy fixing of gutter brackets, and the engineered nail/screw ports include 'sleeves' that confidently guide fixings into the centre of the fascia edge.
