As a mechanically fitted system, this roll-out dry ridge system from Manthorpe securely fixes the ridge tiles onto your roof, protecting them from rain penetration and wind up-lift. Providing 5,000mm² per metre ventilation to the roof void through the vent roll, this system offers the equivalent of a continuous 5mm gap.
Without the need for mortar, fixing this ridge is clean, quick and easy and can be accomplished during frosts and other adverse weather conditions. Compatible with most types of concrete angled and round ridge tiles and most flat concrete, slate and profiled tiles, it can be installed on the ridge of any duo-pitch roof with a pitch from 15° up to 45°.
Supplied with all the components required for a ridge run of approximately 6m in length (excluding the ridge tiles), this system comes in a Brown finish and can be used in conjunction with Manthorpe's Ridge End Caps and both their Linear and Standard Smart Verge systems. Independently wind tunnel tested by the BRE, this Manthorpe Roll-Out Dry Ridge System's testing complies with the requirements of BS 6399-2: 1997 Code of Practice for wind loads.
