Find out moreIdeal for use at side abutments and verges, Regent's tile-and-a-halves must be used in alternate courses. With a prominent and elevated roll design, they will help provide an eye-catching and distinctive effect on your roof. Available in a selection of colours with a smooth, through-coloured and clear acrylic-coated finish, they ensure a perfect match for any roof type.
Additionally, the versatility of Regent tiles allows them to be installed on roofs with pitches as low as 12.5°, making them particularly suitable for extensions and lean-to roofs, where the rafters need to fit beneath existing window sills.

Question:
Hi. About this product and maybe all your roof tiles Can any of your tiles be installed pan roof at about 35degrees, with o nails, relying on just the lip resting on the battens
Answer:
No. Mechanical fixing is mandatory.
Under BS 5534, the UK’s code of practice for slating and tiling:
All single‑lap tiles must be mechanically fixed (nail, clip, or both).
Relying solely on the tile nibs/lips resting on battens is not permitted anywhere on the roof.
At 35°, you are well within the range where every tile must be fixed to resist wind uplift.
Question:
how many tiles i need to cover 1 mr square
Answer:
When calculating the quantity of the Redland Regent Concrete Roof Tile & Half - Terracotta needed to cover a square meter, it's important to note that half tiles are not used in coverage calculations. They are used exclusively at verges and side abutments, in alternate courses. Therefore, the number of tiles needed for a square meter would depend on the size and layout of the full tiles, not the half tiles. I'd recommend checking the product data sheet or contacting the manufacturer for specific coverage information. You can find the product data sheet at this link: Redland Regent Profiled Tile Data Sheet. If you need further assistance, please consider reaching out to our customer service team.
Question:
What pitch can this tile go too?
Answer:
The Redland Regent Concrete Roof Tile & Half - Terracotta can be laid at pitches as low as 12.5 degrees. This makes it an ideal choice for extensions and lean-to-roofs where the rafters have to fit below existing window cills. For more detailed information, please refer to the product's Data Sheet.
