From ROCKWOOL's RW range of semi-rigid and rigid slabs, these RWA45 insulation slabs are suitable for general building applications and are CE marked to EN 13162. Consisting of high-quality resin-bonded slabs with a 60mm thickness to suit your requirements, they offer outstanding acoustic, fire and thermal insulation.
Light and easy to handle, cut to any shape with a sharp knife and install, these ROCKWOOL insulation slabs are cost-effective, durable and water-repellent. They operate in two distinct ways to reduce noise, either by sound absorption at the surface or by impeding sound transmission through an element of the structure. The structure of the fibres makes them perfect for use as a sound absorber, with naturally high coefficients over a vast frequency range.
Obtaining an A1 classification in accordance with BS EN 13501-1, this ROCKWOOL RW slab, therefore, complies with the requirements of non-combustible materials as defined in all UK and Ireland Building Regulations.
