Both water and vapour-proof, this 1.5m x 50m SuperFOIL SFTV Thermal Vapour Barrier Roll offers 75m² of coverage and is fantastic for a range of applications, including roofs, walls and floors. As an all-round performer and foil radiant barrier, it minimises solar gain in the summer months while enhancing insulation when it gets colder.
With three layers of polypropylene-reinforced heavy laminated foil, this Thermal Vapour Barrier is equipped with commendable reflective properties to benefit its uValue. It creates an 'airtight' layer for the entire building envelope and, in turn, enhances energy performance in both new and retrofit projects.
This SuperFOIL SFTV barrier achieves an R-value of 0.95 for roofs, 1.42 for walls and 2.8 for floors when including two air gaps.

We wouldn't recommend using SFTV over the top of a felt.
SFBB may be the better option as it was designed to be used as a secondary rain barrier, however we cannot guarantee the results after as it hasn't been designed / intended for that purpose.
