With exceptional weather resistance, vapour permeability and tear strength, this high-performance timber frame membrane is from Glidevale Protect. It has all the advantages of the tried and tested Glidevale Protect T200 membrane but with an additional highly reflective, durable surface that improves the thermal performance of the final wall construction.
Designed for protection of the outer timber framed walls during the building process and for secondary defence after construction to minimise the risk of interstitial condensation, this Thermo insulating breather membrane features low emissivity technology which provides a permeable low emissivity layer. When fixed facing into unventilated airspace, this membrane effectively stops infrared radiation and increases the thermal performance of the air space and the overall uValue of the wall construction. Extra thermal performance can be achieved by using this Glidevale Protect TF200 Thermo in conjunction with a Glidevale Protect VC Foil insulating vapour control layer.
