Whether applied by hand or via a plaster project machine, this Thistle Hardwall Gypsum Undercoat Plaster delivers a convenient pre-mixed solution suitable for most masonry surfaces. You can pair it with Thistle Multi-Finish for a flawless, high-quality finish on your internal walls.
This Thistle Hardwall Plaster ensures superior impact resistance, quicker surface drying and heightened resistance to efflorescence, providing a sturdy foundation for decorative finishes. Made from lightweight, retarded hemihydrate and enriched with special aggregates and additives, it requires only water for preparation. Each bag covers an impressive 3 square metres at an 11mm thickness when applied manually, with a settling time of 1.5 to 2 hours and a water requirement of 15.0 litres per bag.
For your peace of mind, this Thistle Hardwall Plaster's fire-resistant properties offer reliable protection. It is also suitable for use in frost conditions, provided surfaces are safeguarded against freezing temperatures post-application. Enhancing your space's acoustics, this plaster is compatible with Robust Detail constructions E-WN-1, dense aggregate block cavity separating wall, and E-WM-2, lightweight aggregate block cavity separating wall, ensuring optimal sound performance.
