Including a white uPVC curb and a triple-glazed dome thermoformed from polycarbonate sheet with a clear surface and a minimum of 3mm thick glazing, this 1300mm x 1300mm square Em-Dome rooflight makes optimal use of natural sunlight. The robust polycarbonate structure has up to 250 times stronger impact resistance in comparison to glass, meaning it is almost unbreakable.
Once installed, this Em-Dome rooflight cannot be detached using basic tools thanks to the high-security screwbolts that are patented and unique to Em-Dome and included factory-fitted as standard. They provide a high level of resistance to forced entry or tampering. Within the body of the screwbolt, the sleeved fixing ensures the prevention of pressure from building up onto the rooflight glazing as it is fastened. This helps to essentially remove the risk of stress fractures instigated by over-tightening.
