VELUX smoke ventilation control systems offer a range of functions, such as automatic opening of smoke ventilation windows to full fire positions within a mere 60 seconds of smoke ventilation activation. In addition, smoke ventilation windows are thoroughly tested and conform to all EU requirements and can be opened to allow fresh air to circulate.

Equipped with double glazing (70), the window offers a multitude of benefits, such as a safety laminated inner pane that prevents shattered glass from spilling into your space in the event of breakage. An outer pane with toughened glass also ensures strength against external environmental conditions. The UV filter is included to safeguard your furnishings from the sun's harmful rays, which can often cause fading. As for the up to 35dB sound insulation and VELUX's rain noise reduction, the window is equipped to muffle heavy rainfall so that you can sleep well.

Tested according to DIN EN 12101-2

Please note:

For aerodynamic smoke ventilation, the system is certified to EN ISO12101-1 for roof pitches between 15° and 60°. For geometric smoke ventilation, the system is certified to EN ISO12101-2 for roof pitches between 15° and 90°.
For compliance with aerodynamic smoke ventilation requirements, you can include the optional KFD external wind deflector.
The EDL flashing is not suitable for use with interlocking slate.
