It opens outwards to 45° for panoramic views and features Thermo-Technology™, which allows low energy transfer and homes that stay warm in colder months. The window also includes a pine finish and triple glazing.
The roof window is designed to rotate and fasten with an in-built barrel bolt, meaning that you can stay in your home and clean outer panes with ease. On days where windows need to stay shut but you find your rooms getting stuffy with stale air, the ventilation bar lets you circulate clean air easily. The ventilation filter is perfect for trapping out dust and insects. You can complete installations in lower amounts of time and without sacrificing safety due to the click on covers. VELUX roof windows also make standard and recessed installations clear and obvious as a result of the red and blue line bracket system.
VELUX triple glazing (66) impedes external noise and cold air. For untarnished furniture, the UV filter prevents sun damage while the toughened glass provides outer panes with added strength. In turn, they can better resist external environmental factors. If your window breaks, shards of glass will not enter your home due to the safety lamination and the unique rain noise reduction lets you sleep better without the sound of droplets against the window. To result in clear views, the anti-dew and easy-to-clean coatings combat dew on the outer pane and repel dirt. It offers sound insulation of 37dB.
