Cleaning the outside of your windows can be difficult, but VELUX roof windows have a solution. The windows rotate 180° and lock into position with the barrel bolt, meaning that you can stay indoors while you wipe down both sides of glass. You can open the windows easily and seamlessly with the handle and the pivot hinges. On occasions where the windows stay shut, the ventilation bar allows for fresh air circulation and the ventilation filter prevents insects and dust from infiltrating. Thanks to the brackets that are pre-mounted, you can easily click on your choice of blind and insert the pre-cut side channels.
VELUX enhanced noise reduction glazing (62) provides a hydrophobic anti-dew coating for views that are clear of dew, a toughened outer pane which has the strength to tolerate environmental factors, as well as a UV filter that saves furnishings from sun damage. If the glass breaks, the safety lamination holds it together, so it won't disperse. The rain noise reduction means your night's sleep will go uninterrupted as the sound of rain pattering against the glass is softened. Suited to homes that require extra defence from the cold and noise, this three layer glazing benefits from high thermal insulation and sound reduction of up to 42dB.
