This VELUX electric curved glass rooflight is available in 900 x 1200mm, and is the premium option for homeowners and businesses, creating the perfect environment in a room below a flat roof. Designed specifically for flat roofs with pitches of between 0 and 15 degrees, the VELUX curved rooflight is the perfect way to upgrade your building, and is electrically operated for maximum efficiency and ease of use.

The VELUX curved glass rooflight consists of a 6mm scratch-free glazing pane, with a glass-to-edge design, which extends further than the frame. This creates a clear pane which provides maximum daylight entry from the outside, and a great view from the inside.

The VELUX INTEGRA curved glass rooflight not only provides maximum natural daylight, but also allows natural ventilation into the room when operated with the VELUX INTEGRA technology. The electric curved glass rooflight is designed to open or close when required using a control panel, creating a flow of fresh air into the room and creating a more comfortable environment.

Benefits of the VELUX electric curved glass rooflight

The curved glass design is unique to VELUX. CurveTech is an innovative curve-shaped glass top which allows rainwater to drain more efficiently off the surface, instead of pooling. This minimises the amount of maintenance and cleaning required, as water and other substances drain off easily, and also improves the clear view through the window pane and the amount of daylight that enters the room, with less raindrops getting in the way.

 The VELUX curved glass rooflight is manufactured with an insulating PVC frame, and a double paned, low-energy inner glass. This helps to minimise heat loss by preventing heat from escaping through the window, which in turn reduces electricity and heating bills.

The electric VELUX curved glass rooflight not only features the hidden motor for electric operation, but also features a rain sensor, which closes the rooflight automatically if rain begins to fall. This provides peace of mind, so that even if the premises are vacant and the rooflight is left open, no rainwater will enter the building.

The design of the curved glass rooflight acts as a noise reducer as well as providing maximum daylight and minimal heat loss. This means that sounds from rain, hail and other external elements aren’t transferred into the room.

The VELUX curved glass rooflight has been designed with style and visual impact in mind. The VELUX rooflight is finished internally with PVC, to create a seamless and practical design that is not only virtually maintenance free, but also blends in well with most room interiors, minimising visual impact. The exterior of the VELUX rooflight consists of edge to edge glass and aluminium profiles, with a black border to create a stunning minimalistic design.

Is the remote a touch screen or just a wall button one?

This would be provided with the wall button remote, the touch screen ones are no longer available but there is the Velux Active system (linked below) which allows you to control the windows from a phone app.
